In Charleston, South Carolina, in a large litter of pink pigs, a unique black and white striped pig was born. Unlike the piglet’s siblings, it stood out like a beacon of diversity in their otherwise pink same old, same old world. From the very beginning, the striped pig felt like an outcast because it had the ability to stand on its hind legs effortlessly, a skill that set it apart from the others. Unfortunately, instead of being celebrated for this special pig’s uniqueness, the other pigs became jealous and started bullying the Striped Pig.
Determined not to let the bullying define the Striped Pig, it sought solace in dance. Dance became its refuge, the Striped Pig’s way of expressing itself and escaping the harsh reality of its everyday life. Although the Striped Pig’s initial attempts at dancing were clumsy and unrefined, the other pigs, fueled by their envy, mocked the poor little piglet even more.
A kind-hearted girl named Pixie, who lived on a neighboring farm, noticed the little piglet being mistreated. Unable to bear the injustice, she bravely stepped in to defend it. Recognizing the Striped Pig’s passion for dance, Pixie, who had a deep understanding and appreciation for various dance styles, took it upon herself to teach her new friend. But with all her other duties and chores, she needs help. Will you be able to care for the Striped Pig?
